SpaceMed has awarded the full rebranding for its products and solutions to Cape Town based creative media agency, Kilmer & Cruise, following a competitive RFP (Request for Proposal) and pitch process held over the last six weeks.
The appointment continues to add to an exciting time for SpaceMed, as it embarks on a journey to reposition the brand to stand out in a market that is increasingly saturated with new technologies. Being an international solutions and technology company providing a suite of end-to-end solutions comprising of a unique compression technology for across multiple industry sectors, the decision was made to tap into the skills and experience of the founder of Pragmattica Consulting, Amanda Louw-Bester, earlier in 2021. Amanda took on the challenge to lead the process, bringing her expertise in helping clients navigate the digital media and marketing landscape, to the project.
Kilmer & Cruise were chosen from a shortlisted group following a rigorous review process and will be the comprehensive creative brand and design partner to the business. “From the shortlisted group that we had the opportunity to interview, Kilmer & Cruise definitely had the edge that the client was looking for. Co-Founder Danny de Nobrega and Head of Studio, Lydia Oberholzer displayed a genuine and well researched insight into the business and what some of the clear shortcomings were with the current branding. But they also gave the client insight into their own business, their dynamic and convinced them of why they were simply a good fit.” said Amanda.
The agency presented a strong portfolio of work including strategy, brand planning and development, design, branded content, media, and digital delivery, highlighting their experience and capabilities in this space to the interview panel. They will now add SpaceMed to their creative work product for companies such as Hill’s Pet Nutrition, CompCare Medical Scheme, The Children’s Hospital Trust, My Smart City, and more.
“There’s been such a natural fit between SpaceMed, Pragmattica and ourselves. We’re truly excited about the immense potential that exists within the SpaceMed team, their product and how it’s going to impact the world,” commented Danny.
Leigh Myles, Group Sales and Marketing Manager confirmed: “SpaceMed will enjoy increased market awareness and reach new customers through the investment that will be made in the creative rebranding of its business. We believe that Kilmer and Cruise, with their distinctly different approach, experienced team, and enthusiasm, can fully deliver on what the business needs to refresh while remaining relevant. We aim to take a leading role in this competitive industry, but with appeal to a much wider audience and know that Danny and his team will help us get there.”
